Draft — to be reviewed by a lawyer before launch. Highlighted parts are not decided yet.
Terms of use
These terms cover Flirtify, Hangout and Bondable (the "apps"), made by Luc B. Perussault-Diallo, a private individual running InRealLife ("InRealLife", "we"). Who we are and how to reach us is in the legal notice. By creating an account you agree to them and to the community guidelines.
Who can use the apps
You must be 18 or older, use your real first name and photos of yourself, and have only one account. You can't use the apps if we have banned you before.
What we provide
The apps help people find and join small in-person activities hosted by other people. Hosts organize activities, not InRealLife. We don't run venues, we aren't party to arrangements between people, and we don't handle any costs you share.
We don't run criminal background checks. The selfie check only shows that a profile belongs to a real person who looks like their photos. Read our safety advice.
Your responsibilities
- You're responsible for your own conduct, and for your safety at activities.
- Hosts describe their activity honestly, pick public places that suit it, and show up or cancel in time.
- Don't use the apps to sell, advertise, recruit, or collect other people's data, and don't use bots or scrape the apps or the API.
What you post
You keep the rights to what you post: photos, bio, activity titles and descriptions. You let us store, show and process it only to run the apps for you and the people you meet, and to keep them safe. This permission ends when you delete it or your account, except where we must keep something by law or for a report under review.
Moderation
We review first activities, selfie checks and every report. Software helps us sort what to look at first, but a person makes every decision. Depending on what happened we may remove content, warn you, suspend your account, or ban it in every InRealLife app. We tell you what we decided and why, unless the law or someone's safety prevents it.
If you disagree with a decision, reply to our message or write to [email protected] within 6 months. A different person reviews it. In the EU you can also use a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body.
To report illegal content, use Report in the app, or write to [email protected] if you don't have an account. Authorities can reach us at the same address.
Ending your account
You can delete your account in the app at any time, or without the app. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms or put people at risk.
Paid features
The apps are free. If we add paid features, we'll say what they cost and their refund terms before you pay.
Liability
We provide the apps as they are and do our best to keep them working and safe. We're not responsible for what people do at activities or for content other people post. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, including for death or injury caused by our negligence, or your rights as a consumer where you live.
Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app at least 30 days before. If you keep using the apps after that, the new terms apply.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. If you live in the EU, you keep the protections of your country's consumer law and can bring a claim there.
